New 2WD Rally Challenge
Pacenotes is proud to sponsor the new N.I. 2WD Tarmac Rally Challenge! This is a new rally championship in Northern Ireland, consisting of seven rounds (see left). It’s designed to be a fun, cost-conscious challenge. Entry fees are expected to start from around £150, with an average stage mileage of 30 miles.

“Pacenotes is proud to work together with organisers of this new challenge,” Pacenotes editor Simon Mooney said. “Having been sponsor of the Northern Ireland Stage Rally Championship for four years, we believe it’s time for us to turn our attention to clubman and junior competitors in what could be the year of the clubman.”

Pacenotes has put in place an end of year prize fund with over £1500 and trophies up for grabs. There is a prize fund for each class, with larger prizes for first, second and third overall.

Challenge co-ordinator, Andy Gilmore, said: “It's great to be able to revive what used to be known as the Clubman's Championship, and to provide a cost effective challenge for competitors. We would like to see crews use this Challenge to build up their experience and progress to competing in the full ANICC Northern Ireland Championship in years to come. We are delighted to have Pacenotes on board as title sponsor and we look forward to increasing our profile through increased publicity in what is the leading rally magazine.”
